Adult Companion Services

 

The goals of adult companion services are directed at companionship or mild assistance of the person mainly in the home or occasionally in the community. Covered services when incidental to the companion service also include:
• Light laundry
• Light housekeeping tasks
• Basic meal preparation
• Simple shopping

Adult companion services do not include:
• Activities not directed at a goal
• Services provided by people related to the person by blood, marriage or adoption
• Laundry, light housekeeping tasks, meal preparation and shopping as a separate service
